Picturesque is a concept that holds a special place in my heart. It revolves around the gamification of photography, and is strongly inspired by the mini-game from the Dead Rising series.

To meaningfully gamify photography, I first needed to understand both the creative and technical challenges behind capturing sharp and expressive images: the color theory, the composition, the exposure triangle... Developing this prototype was significantly harder as photography remains a subjective art, and I needed to provide the player with practical scores and advices - without diminishing the artistic expression through overly restrictive mechanics.

I developed a genuine passion for photography as I delved deeper into my researches. I eventually purchased a camera, and began seeing the world from a new perspective. You can find a selection of my work on my Instagram account.
